When My Mind Is Full of Chaos and Confusion

When our minds become full of chaos and confusion, we become shocked when we find out our thoughts are not reflecting reality like we think they were. I find that in times like these, when I need desperately to figure out reality and what the truth is to help me in my decisions and plans and understand my current circumstances, I need to get alone, away from home (away from where the chaos reigns), and cry out to my Almighty Father with all my heart, waiting on Him until things become clear. It might take a while because there is chaos in the atmosphere above us and the archons of heaven need to fight the forces of darkness that seek to confuse, deceive, and mislead us.

Asking for prayer from others helps win the fight for our mental clarity because the chaos needs to be defeated and the confusion cleared by the faith of strong believing warriors who can lift up their prayers into the heavens for us and pierce through that darkness to reach God, especially when our faith is weakened out of oppression in our minds. We need to reach out to Him and put our trust in Him as He fights for us until the confusion and chaos eventually clear up and we can perceive reality.

I have become aware of what part we play in restoring our mental clarity. There are a number of ways we can stand our ground while God is at work in the heavens above us, helping to restore our minds.

  1. By cleaning up our environment
  2.  Putting on powerful worship music and praising Him
  3. Taking communion at home
  4. Meditating on the Word and seeing what He reveals
  5. Tackling our to-do lists
  6. Uttering prayers to God if we can fight the confusion
  7.  Making serving Him and others a priority
  8. Meeting with believers
  9. Attending church
  10. Doing anything else we know He has made clear He wants us to do.

These spiritually powerful actions will clear the way for the archons to defeat the forces of darkness and then we can see how God comes through and shines His light beam down into our consciousnesses to heal and clear the chaos. Then we can understand and know the truth.

We don’t often realize the battle for our minds. It is real and unseen. Having a mental disorder makes us vulnerable to attacks from evil spirits. They do not cause mental disorders, but they aggravate them and seek to harass us unendingly. It is humbling to realize that Someone far greater is able to help us when we become confused and when we lose the battle for our minds to these sinister oppressive entities. We just need to reach out to Him.

God cares but He knows we get confused. It’s not always our fault; it’s the forces of chaos and confusion. He loves us and can break through the darkness. And He will, each time, like the archons did in the book of Daniel. There’s no one like our God; no warrior quite like Him and His forces. He will fight for us. Glory be to Him always. Amen.
